Back-to-School Drives

Floridacentral Credit Union is proudly supporting three local back-to-school drives.

• Branches in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties are participating in the Joshua House Back-to-School drive through August 5^th.
• Branches in Sarasota and Manatee Counties are supporting the Maverick’s Backpacks & Brunch event at the State College of Florida on Saturday, July 27^th.
• Lakeland Branch is collecting donations until August 1^st for the Stuff the Bus drive.

Joshua House Back-to-School Drive

We're partnering with Friends of Joshua House for a Back to School Drive. Join us in our efforts to equip foster children in our community with the tools they need for success in school and life.

We invite you to drop off donations at any of our branches in Hillsborough, Pinellas, or Pasco counties until August 5^th. We're collecting backpacks, folders, and other essential school supplies. You can also purchase items from the Friends of Joshua House Amazon wishlist or make an online donation. 

Your efforts can make a significant difference in the lives of foster youth! Together, we are making a positive impact.

Maverick’s Backpacks & Brunch at the State College of Florida

When: Saturday, July 27, from 9-11 a.m.

Where: SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., and SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail.

We're excited to support the Maverick’s Backpacks & Brunch event at the State College of Florida on Saturday, July 27^th. SCF distributes backpacks and basic school supplies to local students so that they can have a happy, healthy school year. This free event will feature Maverick the Manatee, games, SCF program booths, brunch treats, and more.

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota needs school supplies to fill the backpacks. Support this fun-filled event by:

• Donating backpacks, hygiene products, notebooks, pens and other essential back-to-school items
• Volunteering to assist with brunch, activities or other event services.
• Visiting SCF’s Amazon registry to donate items that will directly support these children.*
